Pharmacist is the person who is an expert in drugs; They are trained person in various disciplines of drug manufacturing, drug testing and standardization, dispensing, hospital Pharmacy administration and forensic pharmacy and allied fields. As the ratio of Pharmacist to Patient is less than the requirement. Considering this point Shri Balasaheb Mane Shikshan Prasarak Mandal is starting Diploma Course in Pharmacy with intake capacity of sixty for womens. The society currently running 29 different institutes of various disciplines. The Diploma holders as Registered Pharmacist will have opportunities for self employment as retailers and wholesalers of medicines as well as employment as Pharmacist in Hospitals and Dispensaries run by Government, Semi-Government or private parties. They are preferred for services as medical representatives and salesmen and also can work in repacking units licensed under the Drugs Act.
